G.M. Atik Shahriar is an early-career economist with a strong interest in data-driven policy research. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in the same department.

His research portfolio is diverse, encompassing macroeconomics, development economics, trade, and political economy. At IDA, Atik focuses on leveraging robust data analysis and evidence-based insights to address pressing economic and policy challenges. His analytical rigor and dedication to quality research make him a valuable contributor to the institute’s mission.
